COM 364 – Audio for Sound Media

Soooooo…  after almost a year’s hiatus, I HAVE RETURNED!  I have since moved on from the land of Digital Media Convergence and am now focusing on Audio for Sound Media, which focuses on projects that are strictly audio-only.  Kinda like NPR-style journalism, music production, and radio commercials.

At the beginning of the semester, we were instructed to take a poe m or short story and depict it using audio effects like music, sound effects, and voiceovers.  I chose to recreate the Soldier’s Creed by using a beautiful rendition of “Ave Maria” to contrast the sounds of war, all while two voices alternate reading lines.  I am proud to report that I showed this project to one of my best friends, who is in ROTC here at Elon, and I earned his stamp of approval!
